Alexa is a cute girl who enjoys video games, especially the ones on the PlayStation 3, but she used to be a boy named "Alex".
Alex was born in Oroville, California to a Spanish mother and an American father. He has been to a lot of countries, thanks to his father who was a sergeant for the US Air Force. One time his family lived in Japan for a year until they moved back to California because of a tsunami rumor. For most of his elementary school life, he was the class clown who sometimes get in trouble. His family moved to Italy and he changed his class clown antics into a calm collected and studious one after some motivation from his 5th grade homeroom teacher and his parents. During his time in 6th grade, he heard that his father was going to retire after a back surgery and wanted to move the family to Spain, where his mother was born.
The family moved to Mallorca, Spain and Alex had to learn how to adjust going from an American school to a Spanish/Catalan one. When he got to his first day of school there, in the middle of his 6th grade year, he was very shy but made many friends from his class, including Joanne. However, he had to be held back a year for the teachers worrying about him going from Spanish/Catalan elementary to high school in a short amount of time. He was friends with a boy named Luke, thinking that being in 6th grade for a second time wouldn't be too bad but it was the worst year of his life. Luke double-crossed him by taking advantage of his shyness and was bullied most of the time by him and his gang.
When Alex came to high school, he had to endure of being bullied for the first few years until the bullies dropped out and some of them changed.
A few days before 12th grade started, Alex looked at the list of classmates he's going to be with and he only saw 1 female student, he thought something was wrong. On the first day of school, the principal wanted to see him. Alex went in and was told that he was doing OK and handed him a little gift, which was a piece of Jolly Rancher-esque candy.
After school, Alex went home and ate the candy. It was no ordinary candy, it was a candy that permanently changes the gender of a person, Alex didn't realize that he was slowly turning into a girl. He finally realized that he was changing after he looked at himself in the mirror. Alex became "Alexa" after the transformation was complete.
The next day, Alexa went to the principal's office and wanted an explanation why is she a girl. The principal said that every year, the female population of the school was getting lower so he decided to make things even by gender bending random boys and Alexa was one of them. Alexa had to cope over it and she still thinks she's a boy inside.
Ever since being turned into a girl, Alexa reunited with Joanne and made lots of friends on the way, including Lucin, Paula, Synnove, Ellette, Erin and Damita.
Alexa's dream is to go to California, study at a community college and college and become a Voice Actress. She loves to impersonate characters from anime, cartoons, video games and real people.
Fun Fact: When she was a boy, her middle name was a spelling error. "Jauma" was supposed to be "Jaume" (James in Catalan) but the doctors got it wrong.
